linux

Tue Jul 18, 2006 3:33 am

Sorry guys, I am going to ask what I think has asked before. Is there going to be a linux version of The Dude? Reasons I ask. It seems you cannot start dude server as a service because it runs under wine. At least I haven't found a way. Also the other problems I have listed in other posts.

Also found that if I start the server on FC5 as root then connecting from a windows box, that windows box doesn't update after the map is shown. If I start the client and let it start the server then it works fine.

Thanks for all the work, it is a very good program.

I have been trying it with wine. All the problems I have had posted in this section have had it running under wine on FC5. And as I said, I have not been able nor have a found in google how to start one something like this as a service on boot up when wine is involved.
