/export file=[/system identity get name];

Fri Nov 17, 2017 9:13 pm

For some reason the /export file=[/system identity get name]; script command is working on some of my devices but not in most of them. I've diagnosed it to this specific line because if I change /export file=[/system identity get name]; to /export file=backup;, it works just fine.

I've updated the firmware and routerOS to the latest versions and still could not get this command to work within the script. Is this command no longer supported or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance!
P.s. I'm a total newb.

Same what?

Please show exactly what command you are running, what you expected to see/happen and what happens instead.

Include terminal output or screen dump when applicable.

What happens when you run
:put [ /system identity get name ]
in console?

I guess the router name contain some character which can't be used in filename.
