I have an instance where a radio link that is connected to a Mikrotik router flaps some times, during heavy rain fade.
When it does it causes the expected problems with route flapping.
The router has 2 upstream links.
I wanted to know if the scripting in the Mikrotik could poll the radio and if it sees the signal strength (RSSI) above a certain number it would shutdown a ip address
till the RSSI came back to normal range.
Biggest question. Is their script options to do a "SNMP-GET" from a remote device... After that i'm pretty sure I would be able to finish the script port on/off etc.c.etc..
I didn't see any place in the Mikrotik users/forums/Manuals that give me the impression that a Mikrotik can do polling like this.
Thanx
