DHCP Server Lease script?

Wed Dec 12, 2018 1:30 am

i'm a bit confused..

i have Mikrotik with 2 DHCP servers (main/guest) 3 wifi networks (2.4 main/guest + 5). i've configured DhCP Lease script as :log info "......",
now the magic comes....

one client triggers script every network change - guest -> 2.4 -> 5 -> 2.4 -> guest -> etc... and another client - triggers nothing. it joins wifi, receive IP, change wifi network same as first client, but triggers nothing...

first client have assign/deassign IP each network change, and second one - just connect/disconnect wifi without any IP.. both clients has static lease.

sorry. no logs, coz winbox do not allow to select/copy logs...:(

1st - iphone, second - huawei.

any idea what is going on?

no. two phones. just select wifi network from menu. only one reservation for each device with one MAC.

I meant: when you observe the ip to change for one phone when hopping bands, do you see same mac each time in dhcp server logs?
