Fetch program aborts with timeout

Wed Feb 24, 2021 9:14 am

I'm having a very slow/bad internet connection under my MT.

I want to download a large file (2GB) from a remote location. My computer is perfectly fine doing that, but it reconnects a lot of times during the reception.
I don't really like that as during this operation my computer needs to be switched on constantly, and I had to disable sleeping.

Therefore came the idea to outsource this job to my MT. There is this command:
/tool fetch
, which works beautifully with small files, but with my large file it aborts with timeout.
Also, after this message, it deletes the partially downloaded file.

Is there any option to force this tool to download the file? I.e.: after timeout, restart the operation and resume the download? If this tool is not able doing this, is there anything else I can use for the same goal?

Thanks!
