Looking For User tgrand

Sat Sep 27, 2008 5:04 am

I saw a post for some vb code that interfaces with the api. I am trying to get this to work in visual studio to make a front end api. I have a couple of questions about the code. If you can please contact me. My email is awbachorski@embarqmail.com I got the code to attempt to login but will not login, it gives a return code then says trap login failed. I am not sure if it is waiting for me to issue a command then exiting once i dont or i have something set up wrong. I am trying to follow the logic on how to issue commands once logged in.

The code works immediately.
If it does not work then there is a problem with your development environment.

As to what could be wrong with your environment, I could not help you.
The has definitely been verified on VS2005.

The logic is there, and the logic works.
From that you should be able to recraft to fit whatever language or environment you are using.

The only direct mods required, are to change the username and password in the code.

Just a note:
This really belongs in the scripting category.

or check if api is enabled on router, as routeros by default sets it disabled.
