Save traffic counters

I need to count a traffic that go through specify rule. How can I read this and save, and don't lost it with router reboot?

/ip firewall filter get <.id> bytes

/system script add ..

scripts added here will be saved

I've mean how can I save value of this counters. If I've saved it in variable it'll gone after reboot.

You can save values in file. Search the forum, there were several topics how to do it.

Hi all,
i am new in mikrotik, and that it loss all counters on reboot is it really upset me
some time I browse and search the forum but I do not find information how can I save and restore the counters
please for your help
