Auto configure through Mac Telnet

Tue Jun 29, 2010 2:05 pm

I'm trying to setup the following.

I use one routerboard as a 'configuration routerboard'. From here i will mac telnet to default (unconfigured) routeboard plugged into the network, and run a configuration script that will setup the new routerboard.

I'd like to do all of this automatically. Is ther any way to run a script from this configuration routerboard through Mac Telnet on the new routerboard,i.e no need to first mac telnet, enter username/password and then upload script.

I want to connect and run the script automatically using some command string, so that i can run it through our API to the configuration routerboard.

Any ideas/suggestions?
