maximum packets/second for each user

hello
snybody has an idea what is the maximum packets/second for a client to work normally for a bandwidth 64k/64k

depends of a Standard U Use if it is 80211b then about 250 packets, 80211g about 1400, someone told me if I remember corectly these are the numbers...

250packets * 8bytes(without any overhead) *~1500 MTU / sec = 3.000.000bps = 3Mbps

for reliable 64K I would say you need something between 5-7 PPS in each direction per client so do the calc.. :)

Average packet size on the networks i've administrered has been closer to 1100 bytes / packet. YMMV

64 * 1000 / (1100 * 8) = 7,27272....

kbit * one-kbit / (avg-size * bits-per-byte) =
