LtAP mini (with R11e-LTE) and RouterOS 6.49.X packages for LTE

Thu May 11, 2023 4:42 pm

Hi, Is LtAPmini (with R11e-LTE) required install the lte package (lte-6.49.7-mipsbe.npk) for RouterOS 6.49.X separately?
Can there be R11e-LTE support implemented in the basic routeros-mipsbe (mipsbe) package?

Normally lte package is only for SXTLTE.

If you go to winbox/interfaces, you should see lte tab on your device, your lte interface should be present.

On LtAP with R11e-LTE installed basic routeros-mipsbe package and external lte package lte-6.49.7-mipsbe.npk for RouterOS 6.49.2.
The device is far away. I have to be 100% sure that I won't lose the lte interface if I delete an additional package lte-6.49.7-mipsbe.npk (see https://dropmefiles.com/0IHaR).

The problem solved. R11e-LTE have support in basic routeros-mipsbe package and removing external lte package lte-6.49.7-mipsbe.npk not affected on working lte interface.
