Hello, I got this scenario.
2 POPs,
each POP has:
- CCR running OS v7
- BGP peer to Crown Castle via Fiber
- Receives a default route via BGP
- Advertises 3 subnets /24 (public subnets) via BGP
POP1
* 192.0.2.0/24
* 198.51.100.0/24
* 203.0.113.0/24
POP2
* 192.0.3.0/24
* 198.51.101.0/24
* 203.0.114.0/24
The goal is connect both POPs over a P2P Wireless Link, so if one POP fiber goes down, the other POP can advertise subnet and route traffic to the internet.
Some considerations:
- POPs currently do not advertising other POP routes,
- Under normal condition, each POP has to forward traffic for its subnets.
Any suggestion on how to accomplish this? I'd like to know the different design options this community can provide for this scenario.
