We are in the process of upgrading our network infrastructure and are currently exploring options for an effective configuration.
Our plan includes integrating 12 leaf switches and one core switch. We have identified the MikroTik CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+RM (48-port) for the leaf switches and the CRS326-24S+2Q+RM (24-port 10G) for the core switch. However, this setup does not fully meet our requirements.
We are specifically looking to leverage 40G ports on the leaf switches, but we face a challenge in finding a compatible 40G core switch in MikroTik's offerings. To address this, we are considering third-party solutions, such as a 20 x 40G (S8050-20Q4C) port switch from fs.com.
Can anyone here help us answer the following:
1. Does MikroTik offer a 40G core switch that would be compatible with our planned leaf switches?
2. If not, can MikroTik leaf switches (CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+RM) seamlessly integrate with a third-party 40G core switch, such as the one we are considering from fs.com?
