I know there are several info in internet's corner ... BUT ... none seams to work.

After I made "something" on my router, it stop working.
Then I say, no problem, just reset it, and restore the backup I have.

Well, no one method of reset works.

Method A) - Keep reset pushed, switch on, and wait until the LED stop flash (may be I was wrong here), then release pressure on the reset button.
Then method B) - Keep reset pushed, switch on and release pressure on the reset button, when LED start flashing.
Then Method C) - Switch on, immediatly after push reset and wait until LED flash then release pressure.

So, in this moment I'm not able to obtain any IP addres trough the ethernet cable (I stop hoping being connected trough WiFi).

Could someone give me some hint on how to get linked to the router so I can restore my backup please ?

Buttons and jumpers
The reset button has three functions:

- Hold this button during boot time until the LED light starts flashing, release the button to reset RouterOS configuration (total 5 seconds).
- Keep holding for 5 more seconds, LED turns solid, release now to turn on CAP mode. The device will now look for a CAPsMAN server (total 10 seconds).
- Or Keep holding the button for 5 more seconds until LED turns off, then release it to make the RouterBOARD look for Netinstall servers (total 15 seconds).

Try the first method again.

My wAP ac LTE6 sometimes dies in such a way that it is entirely unreachable, if it runs out of disk space. The only way I have found to restore operation in this case is by restoring the firmware through netinstall.

Background: I am probably putting to much on the disk, by running ROS7.13.3, with the wireless package and the iot package. I am considering migrating to a lower version with less diskspace or try removing the IOT package to free some additional space.

I'm running late 6 version, not 7. I have not put anything in the disk.
What do I need to reinstall via netinstall ?

Power OFF - Keep reset push - Power ON - Wait until LED Flash - Release reset during flashing.

Except a couple of flash of the ETHERNET Ports, one flash of the green LED, than is everything remain off. Power ON LED is ON (blu one).

The router is unattainable either via WiFi or ETH Port 1 and 2.

I suspect that he lost his Firmware ...

Hi, just to say thank you to holvoetn and xrlls,

after I brush up some technologies from the era of stones from my basement (Windows 7 Home Edition on SONY VAIO, without battery anymore );
run Netinstall (I got some time to understand that the connection to RouterOS is under MAC Address and not IP-Address, which means LAYER 2),
everything is working just perfect.
In this moment I'm playing with my toy configuring it and learn in conjunction with some BOOK from the library of MIKROTIK.

Don't worry, I'll not gonna disappear, I'm filling up my notes with further questions ...
