I am unable to get either of my routers to connect to the mobile network. I am able to do so with the hAP ac3 LTE6 kit I bought previously, but that router is no longer available for purchase.
I have cross checked and the bands used by my mobile operator should be supported by the Chateaus:
I am unable to get a connection on firmware version 7.8 (which it shipped with), 7.11.2 (latest stable), and 7.12b7.
Some strange behaviors I noticed:
LTE scanner does not return access technology or RSSI on the Chateaus, where as on the hAP:
I have tried using the default APN, smartone APN (copied off my phone), and checking Use Network APN. I am unable to get a connection with all 3 methods.
Additional notes:
- All 3 routers are placed next to each other, I have also tried moving them to close to the window, but it shouldn't be an issue as I am testing in a prime industrial area with excellent cellular coverage.
- All 3 routers were tested with the same SIM carriers
- All 3 routers were tested with each SIM card
I have reached out to my distributor but want to see if Mikrotik or the community has any ideas, any help will be appreciated!
