I've bought few mkt devices and try to setup home network with wifi managed by capsman, but its not working as it should.
I have RB760iGS (as main router) and C52iG-5HaxD2HaxD (as AP) - this is initial setup for setting it up, then I'll add another AP(s). Both deices are updated to latest 7.14 version
I followed this article https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:S ... ing_Winbox and several YT videos but I probably messed up something in configuration.
Since AP is reseted to CAP mode I'm assuming that problem is in RB760iGS's config. I see CAP's wifi as "managed by CAPsMAN" when i log to AP. But when I log to RB760iGS I see cap-wifi with "SSID not set". That is strange because I set this...
Code: Select all
/interface wifi capsman
set enabled=yes interfaces=bridge-lan package-path="" \
require-peer-certificate=no upgrade-policy=suggest-same-version
/interface wifi configuration
add channel.band=5ghz-ax country=Czech datapath=*1 disabled=no mode=ap name=\
CAPS-cfg-5G security=CAPS-security ssid="Cer 5G"
/interface wifi provisioning
add action=create-dynamic-enabled disabled=no master-configuration=\
CAPS-cfg-2G name-format=cap-2g radio-mac=00:00:00:00:00:00 \
supported-bands=2ghz-n
add action=create-dynamic-enabled disabled=no master-configuration=\
CAPS-cfg-5G name-format=cap-5g radio-mac=00:00:00:00:00:00 \
supported-bands=5ghz-ax
Thanks for the hint where I should look for mistakes in conf.
