L009 boot up problem

Sun Dec 10, 2023 10:00 am

Hi,
Got my mikrotik L009, successfully configured and able to connect to internet no issue.
However I notice the following issue
1. When I power off and on the unit, most of the time it hang. Had to cycle the power a many time to get it successully boot up.
Hang after all the LED light up and off. Then the LED remain off, the power LED is blue
2. If I reboot via the Winbox after succesully boot up, no issue. It is booting normally
3. If I shutdown via the Winbox, and cycle the power (off and on) no issue
4. Try on version 7.11.3 and 7.12.1, same issue

What do you think, it is hardware issue or software?
Note once its boot up normally, no issue able to connect to internet, no hang and no reboot issue.

Thanks

Did you upgrade routerboot as well? (/system/routerboard/ ... print and upgrade)

I have the same problem, it will just occasionally (like 25% of the time) hang with all interface lights lit when I reboot it.

routerboard: yes
model: L009UiGS
serial-number: HFD098BY9A4
firmware-type: ipq5000
factory-firmware: 7.11.3
current-firmware: 7.14
upgrade-firmware: 7.14

Another oddity I noticed is that ether1 does not illuminate link lights, even though it's currently linked to my ISP and working fine.

Same problem here.

L009UiGS with RouterOS AND Routerboot on 7.14.1

3 times has frozen during reboot with all the leds turned on.

Leds on ether1 stay off when plug the ethernet cable (the port is working normally, I can connect to the router using ether1, just the leds stay off).
