Monitoring multiple sites using The Dude

Wed Jul 10, 2024 11:54 am

Good Day,

I am trying to monitor multiple sites using The Dude, I the The Dude running on hAP ax2 on each sites linked back to a L009UiGS-RM via zerotier.

Can someone please tell me how I can probe the remote networks from the L009UiGS-RM via The Dude on the hAP ax2?

The Mikrotiks are not the default gateways, the hAP ax2s are there so I can monitor the network and component up and down time for a customer.

I am needing this information as I need to show all the sites on one big screen.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Will be Manual:The Dude v6/Agents suitable for your case?

The problem I am sitting with is I have done as per the Wiki but it does not work.

Please see attached pictures:

This picture shows my connection from the Main Dude server VS a direct connection to the node on the remote site.

This is what the remote service shows on the main Dude server.

When we add an agent we also can set remote device credentials?

On your second screen there is an error
not connected to Camps Bay ax2 (std failure: not allowed (9), next attempt at 13:14:02) (6)

And a related discussion on the forum - dude, std failure: not allowed (9) error.
