Port opening with multiple routers

Mon Nov 11, 2024 4:30 pm

Hello, I need to configure some router for rtsp streaming of some security cameras.
In a remote location I have a Starlink antenna and a Mikrotik router connected to it. The mikrotik router is connected to a Cambium radio antenna that transmits the signal to 3 different location. In each of this location I have connected a Mikrotik router. On each Mikrotic router I have connected 2 security cameras. At the moment I have installed on the 3 routers in the remote locations a L2TP vpn wit fix public ip address. In this way each of the 3 routers has his fixed pubic ip address and I can access remotely the cameras via RTSP by opening the 554 port of the camera. For the camera I also opened port 8080 so that I can remotely access the camera settings. And I opened the router 80 port so that I can remotely access the router settings. This is working all fine, but I noticed that on Starlink I can activate a public ip address (not fixed, but I will use DDNS). In this way I could avoid paying the 3 vpn service and use the starling public ip address. The problem is that in that way I don't know how configure the mikrotik routers so that I can access remotely all the cameras and the routers with the starlink public ip address. Could someone help me setting this configuration? Thank you very much

I would start with a detailed network diagram to ensure everything is understood correctly..

What experience level do you have with MT routers??
What have you configged for this scenario thus far??
