Looking at the specs, this device seems to be quite nice! Only one thing bothers me - any plans for a future revision that would work with 802.3af/at? I mean, who, in their right mind, still goes for 24V, or even 12V over ethernet cables, especially at longer distances? Is it really that much of a hassle to make this device work at 48V (44-57V) natively? Why do we have to buy (and find a suitable spot for it, if any at all) a RBGPOE-CON-HP for proper powering from 48V equipment, while maintaining gigabit speeds over ethernet? You went through all the trouble of engineering an awesome device like that, and then suddenly screwed it up with an unsuitable power supply.
