Anymore we need a better way to communicate to API's.    Its increasingly harder to find SMS providers that support the ancient fetch capabilities to send SMS notifications etc.  So that means PUT and GET with options. Even better would be to have native cURL.

I would love to see curl on Mikrotik. Fetch is nice, but it's no match for a full curl command.
