Webfig skins

Sun Dec 29, 2019 12:56 pm

Hi,

I'm having troubles to get skins working in Webfig. I'm using a 962UiGS-5HacT2HnT for testing. This device has a small 16 MiB flash disk. When I create a skin in Webfig the JSON file is saved in the /skins directory in the root of the disk. But I wasn't able to assign the skin to a user group. Only when I moved the JSON files to the /flash/skins/ folder they appear in the group settings. But as soon as I moved the files to flash, I couldn't select the skins anymore in the Webfig skin editor (don't appear in the drop down box).

It looks like RouterOS uses two locations for the skin files. At least on systems with a /flash directory.
Also, because the skin files are at first saved to RAM, they won't survive a reboot.
Is this a bug or am I overlooking something?

[Edit: Running the latest version: 6.46.1]

Best regards

Re: Webfig skins  [SOLVED]

It's a bug introduced in v6.46 and continues in v6.46.1 for devices with a "flash" drive. They say they will fix it in the next release.
