DHCP

Tue Nov 03, 2020 9:18 pm

Hi There,

I am kind of a newbie with router OS, I need assistance on how to disable dhcp on a specific eth port but keep the port active to pass internet on the devices connected to it by assigning static IPs to the devices.
Basically I would like to disable DHCP for connections using Ethernet but I would like keep DHCP for wifi, is that possible?
"both eth ports and Wlan are in the same bridge" \

Hope am understood

You can add a firewall rule that block DHCP requests on specific port, to this, do it under bridge filters (Not IP firewall)

Don't forget enable IP bridge firewall on bridge settings.

Here is an example:

@krafg: What's the point of enabling "Use IP Firewall"? It's not needed for bridge filters.
