CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+ SFP+ ports dropping after 3hrs

Thu Oct 28, 2021 8:03 pm

I have just installed a CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+ and I've found that the SFP+ ports are dropping after 3hrs. I am running SWOS 2.13 is this a known issue or has anyone else come across the issue.

Cheers

Did you try with RouterOS and see if the problem remains ?
I can see in 6.49 *) sfp - improved link stability for 10G, 25G and 40G modules on CRS309, CRS312, CRS326-24S+2Q+ CRS354 and CCR2004 devices;

I have found this issue is not just on SFP but also on ethernet ports.... I think there is an issue on the VLAN's within the software. Any idea how I flag this up to Mikrotik???? I replaced the 48port switch with another 48port switch and the same issue happened. I resolved the issue by installing 2 x 24 port POE (CRS328-24P-4S+RM) and no issues 3+ days later.

couple of things I have found and was wondering about the working of routeros and switchos..... I have upgraded routeros to 6.49 and upgraded routerboard does this have a direct effect on swos? I have also upgraded both partions on the switch with swos 2.13 as one was 2.13p on both switches would this cause issues as well. I'm struggling to replicate the issues I was having on site but on site I had 30+ ruckus h510's connected to it so now I'm wondering if my problems are with power.
