Expose Lan using zerotier and mikrotik

Sun Nov 21, 2021 8:42 pm

Hello there
I am new to mikrotik router ( I have got one today model : hAP Lite )

I have installed zerotier in mikrotik ,but i do not know where to start and how to let mikrotik make lan devices reachable via zerotier client :

netwrok A
internet connection
Laptop ( windows)
zerotier client IP (10.147.20.133)

network - B
internet modem IP : 192.168.1.1
mikrotik 192.168.1.2
zerotier client -installed on mikrotik 10.147.20.135

PC 1 lan 192.168.1.10
PC 2 lan 192.168.1.20
PC 3 lan 192.168.1.30
-----------------------------
The OS sound complex for me for the first time .
is this configuration correct :
ether1= 192.168.1.1
ether2 =192.168.1.2 (i want to use this interface as switch Port to internal Lan not internet )
-------------- ????????
what i need now is how to reach PC1-PC2 and PC3 in network B from Laptop in network A
I can do that by iptables and ip forwarding in linux to expose lan , but do not know how to do that in mikrotik . it seems easy but no idea really

Plz Help

...configure - in zt-central - the route to your LAN with GW being the zt-IP of your zt-client on MT (10.147.20.133, make this a static IP in zt-central).

thanks for replay

what i need now is this :
from the laptop in network A i want to access files or RDP of any PC in network B
i dont want mikrotik to give internet to the PCs ,just acting as switch to allow me to access any device in the network B
i can manage zerotier routing in the zerotier console portal no problem ,it is working fine with linux debian .but mikrotik i could not .

...it is all about network routes and gateways.
The concept you want to implement is that of using the zt-net as a transfer net between the two other sites A and B.
We talk about L3 routing, not L2 switching,
zt-central can populate the routes configured in zt.central to each client. The zt-IP of the MT is the gateway to each network and will perform the routing but you need to add routes on the MT side as well.
Another option is to just use the zt-LAN and configure a DNS record in zt-central (or a static IP) for each client, making laptop on site A and PC on site B communicate directly via the zt-LAN...no MT involved (but also no firewall rules - besides these given in zt-central, if any).
