PPPoE into VRF

Wed Nov 23, 2016 4:56 pm

Hi All

I have a PPPoE Server and I need to get Dynamic PPPoE Connections into a VRF.
I can not create separate server bindings for the PPPoE Connections as this is not scalable.

I have tried to mangle the traffic from the source IP and add routing MARK but this also does not seem to work to well.
My config - All PRE-Route Chain
Mark conn for source/24
Mark conn for dest /24
Mark Packets
Mark Routing with VRF Routing table mark.

Is there any other way to do this ?

Tx

Hi All

An update - I have made a "workaround" for now using PBR and one route table.
Is this a limitation of the Mtik platform - do I need to log a bug ?

Hey There Krybabie,

can you please tell me how you made this worK?

i have been trying to get my pppoe interfaces into a vrf without success and am desperate to find a solution to this.

i have tried the mangle rule, have tried putting the pppoe server interfaces into the vrf. doesnt seem to work.

i'd be very keen to know what your work around was?
