Summary of changes in behavior between ROSv6 and ROSv7

We've been doing quite a bit of testing with ROSv7 for our clients that use MikroTik and want to upgrade and test but aren't sure what issues will come up. There have been several changes either in the default behavior or syntax between ROSv6 and ROSv7 and thought it might be a good idea to create a thread to begin summarizing them in one place.

One that I've come across recently is the change in scope behavior for recursive routes which is mentioned here:

If you use routing recursion which is common in iBGP, the recursive routes will flap and be invalid/unreachable until the scope for the route is raised to be higher than the resolving gateway.

Another new (and awesome change) is the addition of a unified routing database /routing/route/ that shows all routes (including those filtered out) along with some additional detail the main routing table does not have.

This will help improve troubleshooting and visibility tremendously
