VLAN & Trunk Configuration

Mon Dec 06, 2021 5:55 pm

Hello everybody ! So I have a little question about my configuration.

I have a D-Link DGS-3120 switch wich have VLAN21 configured on.
All of my other routers has the same VLAN and I can access them by this VLAN.
The problem right now is my Mikrotik router (CCR1036-8G basede on 6.47), I want to access him too by this VLAN so I configured a trunk port on the D-Link and connect it to my MK.

How should I configure my MK to access him ? I have tried Bridge VLAN etc and the thing is the MK and D-link can ping each other but from my laptop i can't.
Any help is welcomed :)
Thanks guys

Confusing, is the MT device the router in this picture?
If so, where are the vlans then created (ip pool, ip address, dhcp server, dhcp server network)

Hi.

Step 1: add vlan under interfaces settings
Step 2: assign ip addr to this vlan under ip address settings.
Step 3: if there firewall configured already, you need check it and make appropriate rule for input chain.

That's all.

Thank you guys for your answers and you were right it was the firewall that was blocking the traffic.
Now everything works fine !

Have a good day :)
