Chateau LTE18 purchase

Mon Jan 24, 2022 2:13 pm

Hello,

I am looking the LTE router I would like to buy Mikrotik Chateau LTE18, but in MikroTik site there is no this product. There is only Mikrotik Chateau LTE12. I know hat there was problems with routerOS on this modem and after RouterOS 7 release some of the problems should be solved.

Links to LTE18 router:
https://www.senetic.lt/product/RBD53G-5 ... TC_EG18-EA
https://www.winncom.com/vi/products/RBD ... %26EG18-EA
https://www.lmt.lv/en/modem-and-router/ ... _LMT_LTE18

Can you tell what is the status of Chateau LTE18 (is it in development phase)? When this product will be available at distributors? Do I need to know something more about this product?

Thank you.

MikroTik does not sell products directly. This model is only available from mobile operators. Distributors do not sell it.

Hmm, I thought it was just delayed... So the Chateau 5G isn't going to be available from existing distributors?

What about use cases like B48/CBRS in the US where the WISP is the mobile operator?

I'm just confused. I took it that US distributors didn't have them was because they weren't available.

We do deploy CBRS so the Chateau 5G be useful. So we are the "mobile operator", but without a distributor selling them or Mikrotik selling them directly, not sure where one in US is to order them from.

They are not sold anywhere individually, they are "made to order" in batches, directly to operators, based on specifications of your 5G network and regulations of your country. Email sales@mikrotik.com for more info.
