Knot (RB924i-2nD-BT5&BG77) + Bluetooth tag (TG-BT5-IN) pairing

Thu Mar 10, 2022 12:06 pm

Hello,
I took 1 KNOT and 3 Bluetooth tags, but I have problems connecting between them.

I installed " MikroTik Beacon Manager " from Play Store and as described with a magnet, I activated the tags and managed to join them in Beacon Manager.

The problem is that I can't find information on how to connect them to KNOT itself and then how I can keep track of where they are.

I found nothing on Youtube except video and unbox reviews.

Please if anyone has already worked with them send links to manuals for both widgets

Please check the video at:

There is no need to "pair" anything. Once the tags are in the advertising mode:
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ ... g-Tagmodes
tags will broadcast information about themselves in the Bluetooth packet's payload. This payload will be "broadcasted" over specific Bluetooth channels:
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Bluetooth
the KNOT will "listen" to the payloads on those channels and display them under its Bluetooth interface. There is no "pairing" involved. Tags broadcast packets and KNOT just captures/displays them.
