Hello everybody, i would like to ask you if it is possible to connect a poe camera to the second ethernet port of the sxt lte, currently i use sxt lte as a modem and ethernet 1 is connected to the home router.I wish I could connect the camera to the poe out of the sxt. do you think it is possible?
Sim-> Modem Sxt Lte -> router
I would like to do something like this
Sim->modem sxt lte->ether. cable 1 =router, ethernet 2 ipcam.
I need to access the camera from local only.

But clearly you do not read the spec. (probably neither the spec of your cam)
and also, for example, you do not provide any info about the cam and you leave the users to use the crystall ball.
If you do that (read both specs), no more question about powering the devices is necessary here,
and you can come back for ask assistance for configure the network.

Hi, it should be no problem provided that your ip-cam doesn't consume more than approx 10 watts using the standard adapter and 20 watts at 57 volts using a more powerful adapter.
Max out output (input 18-30 V): 600 mA
Max out output (input 30-57 V): 400 mA

thank you both for the very helpful answers I saw that the original adapter does not provide enough current for the camera, I decided to return the camera and opt for a battery operated wifi cam.

Standard PowerAdapter with SXT R is 24V who powerup SXTR by eth1.
IPCam must accept 24V of Passive PoE.

The unit includes a 24 V power supply, but can support full range of 12-57 V and 18-57 V with PoE-Out and is 802.3af/at compliant.

if I can ask ignorant on the subject, is it possible to connect the cam to ethernet 2 and have the home router as dhcp? I hope not to offend anyone, but I'm not familiar with networking, if you want to spend some of your time answering a newbie thank you

i checked the specs well, the original poe injector supplies 24v 1.2A, and the passive poe of the sxt can only supply 0.600A to the camera.this is not enough to power the reolink poe cam which needs at least 1A of current.

The specs I managed to find for RLC-510A are very sparse, but if I read it correctly, it consumes about 12W thus the included adapter for SXT will probably not work. However the cam seems to support PoE 802.3af up to 48V so in order to minimize any loss with long cables you should upgrade to a new 48V adapter min 0.5A (ie ~25W)

EDIT: Found some posts regarding PoE adapters and Reolink. It's about a different type of Mikrotik device (hEX PoE) but the same principle applies.

Thank you very much. I would need a 48v powersupply to get the camera to work.
do you think I can connect to the internet with the diagram I posted above?I'm undecided if keep this cam or opt for a wifi cam.

48V should be enough to power both SXT and the ipcam. The diagram looks fine allthough you need to learn how to configure it with ROS. Even a wifi camera needs power in some way.
