I have a MikroTik RBLHGR&R11e-LTE6 running routeros 7.2.1 which is connected to a TP-Link TL-SF1005P POE switch. On ethernet port 2 of the TP-Link switch, I have connected a UniFi 6 PRO wireless access point. I want to use this specific access point purely for guests (I have another physical access point for myself). While I can easily limit each individual users bandwidth (in the Unifi software or in routeros using the queues menu), I need a way to limit the total bandwidth going to this wireless access point. As an example, if I set a total limit of 10mbps and 10 users were using the network, they would each get 1mbps. If 20 users were using the network they would all get 0.5mbps. If 5 users were using the network they would all get 2 mbps etc. As its not possible to do this in the Unifi software, is it possible to do it at the router level with routeros? Is there a way to simply tell routerOs to limit the total bandwidth to this physical access point? I'm looking for a very simple way of doing this, as I have very basic understanding of routeros and networking in general.
