Hello,
during years I had several times "kernel failure" error on my routerboard. Most of them were rare, once a year.
Every time I had such issue I opened a ticket with Support and got answer: "upgrade your RouterOs".
I can understand this approach but if I have a router that mount a "long"-term release and it doesn't have configuration changed, I suppose it couold work for "long" time without upgrade.
Since new RouterOs version are released every month (or week) it's likely that there's always a newer version that one I've installed so I'm not sure if "upgrade" is a solution or a default answer.
Anyway when you faced with a kernel failure issue how did you do?
Did you upgrade RouterOS?
Did you use Netinstall?
Did you upgrade bootloader?
Or other?
Thanks
