hap ac² flash full after failed upload

Sun May 01, 2022 12:29 am

Hello, uploading .npk failed for downgrade(due to accidental laptop disconnect) and now it shows used 13.1MB of 15.3MB but there are no files present in file manager. I've reflashed using netboot and it didn't help. Now I can't upload npk anymore as flash is full. I'm scared to format NAND since I've read that it will brick the device. Any suggestions?

OK I think I've found out what's happening. I was drag and dropping to /flash accidentally instead of root folder, so it wasn't going into RAM and was filling up the flash which is either way filled up almost to the top by the ROS.

Since I see its a winbond SOIC-8 package EEPROM which is really easy for me to solder and desolder (I'm into embedded engineering), I was wondering if ROS would support, and specifically would hap ac2 support if I cloned this EEPROM onto a bigger one? Would the OS be able to address it?
