Add single package (tr069-client) to routerboards

Fri May 13, 2022 12:00 pm

Hi,
I need a way to massively upgrade and add tr069-client to all our CPEs.
I know how to upgrade main firmware package from The Dude.

I can't find a way to add also the tr069-client package that is outside of the main package.

It is a plus if a can also put some configuration (i need to set acs url, but only after tr069 package is loaded)

Can someone help me?

Thank You
Francesco

If you don't ALREADY have a program to connect every device with SSH, API or something like that,
you have to do it manually for each device.

Bisogna pensarci prima che diventano parecchie... 30.000 sono tante...

You must have access to each device and it is possible, for each device,
send a script to download the package, install the package by rebooting the device (and if possible also install the latest 6.48.6 long-term at the same time),
and, after reboot, the script apply the desired configuration to the tr-069-client without access again the device.

Do not matter, you still need to connect each device for config,
on that way you can already donwload file by fetch, create a scheduled script after xxx seconds after reboot than the script apply the configuration.
