Can't connect to wifi wave 2 with galaxy S22+

Sat May 07, 2022 1:40 am

Hello, I recently bought an S22+ and it will not connect to my hAP ac3 at all. It will connect to my extender. I am using the same config I use with everything else and the log is saying there are handshake errors. Apparently this phone has wifi bugs I didn't know about when I bought it.

Hello. It's not the phone who has wifi issues, it's the mikrotik's wifiwave2 drivers. I've got an Galaxy A52s 5G who exibits the same behaviour on mikrotik hap ac3 with WPA2/WPA3. Turning off WPA3 the phone connects just fine. Also using the phone on an Unifi AP with WPA3 enabled no issues at all.

I wish I had come back to the forum sooner because I just figured out I had to force WPA2 about 10 minutes ago lol

Probably there are. But WPA3 doesn't seem to work on MT yet for many client device models ... also my Huawei tab has probkems with audience if I enable WPA2/WPA3.
