Large share transfers (>100MB) drop over wifi with CAPsMAN

I have been getting back to this problem for months, but can't seem to solve it.

There are two cAP ac managed by CAPsMAN on hEX and a simple Share on CentOS. There are no problems whatsoever between wired PC-s and the Share, while laptops on wireless can't transfer files (download or upload) over 100MB.

The transfer starts normally then drops to 0kbps and I get a 0x8007003b error :

Error 0x8007003B seems related to unstable connections or misconfiguration.

The caps serve both 2.4 and 5GHz under the same SSID and there is a second SSID for guests.

Only the best laptop doesn't suffer this problem (T14 Gen1), but i removed one of the caps from CAPsMAN and set it up as a normal AP, and there were no problems, so it is not related to laptops. Also recently I had problems setting up Outlook and synchronizing emails over wireless (20GB mailbox), so it is not the Share either.

I tried to pinpoint the problem with WireShark. Everything is fine for 30s then it starts renegotiating the session and it gets a ACCESS_DENIED for the file

Do you notice something wrong with the configuration or has anyone encountered this problem before ?

Enabling "Use IP firewall" in bridge settings solved this problem for us. Mikrotik support was not helpful: "Maybe packets moving slower and it works now"

Does the problem occurred on a NORMAL setup of one of the capacs? In other words are you sure its capsman and not the capac wifi???

or reset your cap with "/system reset-configuration caps-mode=yes" and test it with ONLY the default configuration maybe???
also i am not an expert in "proxy-arp" bridge setting? why is this used for? why you need this?

There isn't much in the capac configuration as you can see, but I will try a reset next sunday as it is the only moment i can. It is not an hardware problem because it happens on both, and once you get them out of CAPsMAN there is no problem.

proxy-arp is needed for vpn on the brigde you attach your connections to. iirc I have tried local forwarding mode, but I had problems with it. I will try again

hello! Maybe some update on this. The same for me... cant download larger ~100MB - it says network error. With wire everything is fine. Also use CapsMan no specific configuration. NO local forward... all goes via CAPSMAN meneger.
Any solutions?

Not a CAPsMAN user, but interested in the technology, So I read a lot on this technology, that looks like it is probably just an RFC5415 implementation, with control via UDP 5246 and data via UDP 5247. CFR https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5415.html

From what I understand on RFC5415: there should be no difference between local AP config, and CAPsMAN config with local forwarding. The data-path and processing is local and looks the same, with no CAPsMAN involvement, except for the configuration and for some management tasks (like access-list and authentication).
Without local forwarding the data is transferred from the CAP to CAPsMAN via UDP 5247 , using the CAPWAP protocol, that has a small overhead, which could create extra fragmentation, handled by the CAPWAP protocol. But then I read this: relevant or not? I don't know!
