The counters keep zerofying

Thu Jun 16, 2022 11:29 pm

Hello.
I just got my RB2011UiAS-2HnD ( I hope it's a good buy ), and setted it up ( quite basic, almost the ready config )
anyway - looking at interface list - the numbers on the interfaces show proper counters, and in about few seconds they goes to zero.

and then :
numbers2.jpg
and this keeps going and going.
Is this normally, or I am missing something to configure ?

It's an ancient device, not capable of much. But if you don't demand much of it it's pretty ok.
The numbers show your traffic in that moment, if there's no traffic, there's nothing to show.

Well.. I have constant traffic, it just jumping down to 0 every few seconds on all interfaces, and I have traffic on at least 3 of the interfaces permanently..
Feel like something constantly resetting the counters.

sometimes when you access by mac address winbox have this kind of behavior

if you are using mac connection try connecting by ip adresss

sometimes when you access by a inestable remote wan or wifi connection

sometimes when you display to many elements, even when you are not seeing it

sometimes then you stay connected long period off time

check cpu usage

try reconnecting
