Active Backup Bonding Down and up-delay not working

Fri May 01, 2020 8:45 am

Hi,

we have an issue with RouterOS ignoring the up/down delay on the bonding interface.

I can see that this question/bug was mentioned in this thread with no response:
viewtopic.php?t=41424

Have tried adjusting the values to a higher value and hasnt made any difference.
Monitoring is via ARP.

Active backup works - it's just that in some instances, the link flaps and we just want to make sure it's stable before switching back.
This seems like a bug.

Two years later... The same issue exists. Seems not working. Still.

When is heavy raining, like a storm, which takes usually about 10-20 minutes, there is no sense to put link up when main is still flickering. Backup of 60 Ghz link by 5 Ghz link should switch again after main link becomes stable. If there is no algorytm for that, let us to decide about back to normal time. Otherwise is useless.
