IMHO The current ones are not intended for WISPs. They are mainly for small events or projects.
APs are not powerful and lacks distance + client count.
We need better products like Wave by ubnt.

It depends how rainy the area is...
I have to combine a pair of 5GHz to guarantee a minimum of service.
As long as it doesn't rain at 4Km and beyond, the Long Ranges are fine, but if you don't have NetMetals next to it, when it rains nothing would go...
