Which version of ROS did you try ?
Try netinstall again
- some prefer to use Windows, some prefer Linux (I'm in the second camp, I know of others having problems with Linux therefor only using WIndows. So try the other if one doesn't work for you).
- Make sure ALL network interface on your computer are DISABLED except for the ethernet interface used for netinstall
- Some have reported good results from putting a dumb switch in between their computer and device (it aids in making the ethernet connection look 'alive')
- press reset, power on the device but KEEP that reset button pressed until it appears in netinstall
It may take several attempts but it has to work.
