I want to set up a dedicated x86/chr instance for running The Dude only
As some of you already know there have been some issues with The Dude on v7 such as missing packages or binaries from time to time...
I also know that MikroTik haven't really focused on evolving The Dude for some years...
So what I'd like to know is, have there been any changes to The Dude (bugfixes or feature updates) between latest v6 and v7 ? If not, then I'd prefer to deploy it on v6 stable
Any reasons to use v7 over v6 (or vice versa) for a dedicated Dude install?
What about using the Windows server binary of The Dude? Is that very much out of date, or would this be a perfect solution if all I need is a Dude Server instance?
I haven't used The Dude for years so I don't really know the in's and outs of what's different/changed between these various types of deployments
Thanks
