Heya,
I use a wAP ac LTE6 at home to get cellular internet and use the embedded AP for wifi. It's a small house so I didn't need more than that to cover the entire home and that solution had been working perfectly for 2 years now. However, we're building a 2nd room about 30 meters from the wAP and do need of a way to send wifi there. I can't run cable and don't want a wireless point to point solution either as that would mean mounting stuff at the roof of the 2nd room would add unnecessary complexity.
I've been looking at directional antennas and mANT 15s would be perfect since I can point it to that 2nd room from the main house. What's the simplest, cleanest way of adding an mANT 15s antenna to the wAP? I'm assuming that would mean a 5 port switch + a NetBox 5 + the mANT 15s antenna, correct? What's the cleanest way to keep the wAP as my WAN for the NetBox and basically use it just for the antenna?
Thank you
Mc
