Fri Aug 26, 2022 11:44 am

Hi all,

im new in Mikrotik world and i have issue with router configuration (ofcourse with deadline from client). I have to setup WAN port on RB750r3 with below information from ISP.

metroEhernet service:

connection addressing: 80.48.214.84/30 (IPS addressing on port WAN)
addressing LAN IPv4: 217.97.180.168 - 217.97.180.175

my local subnet is 192.168.16.0/24

How to setup my device ? I need two ports from my device to it like a WAN ports and set sNAT for them from 217.x to 80.x and NAT form 192.168.x to 217.x

Can someone share a similar screenshot of the device?

many thanks for help :)

Since this is for a paying client and you have no experience or certification, this is the proper route for you......

so to get this right the 80.48.214.84/30 range is the one from your ISP and the 217.97.180.168 - 217.97.180.175 black is some public addresses that you want on services on or behind your router?
If so this is simple, you need to talk to your ISP and get them to router your IP block through the IP range, from there on the Mikrotik it is as simple as setting up static routes and making sure that the firewall is set up correctly depending on if this is a managed service so it would be best to go through the firewall and be protected or if this is just handing off an ip to a client like a wan connection, most of the time if they ask for this you dont want traffic going to them to be hit by any firewall rules.
If this is not what you are after can you please go into more details about the information you posted as well as clarify what the outcome or what behaviour you require?

Lastly this is just a public forum, Mikrotik or anyone is not obligated to answer let alone in a timely manor, if this is urgent or has a deadline I would suggest looking through the consultants link anav sent through to see if you can get some hand on assistance :)
