CRS317-1G-16S+RM + S+RJ10 --> Marvell AQC107 = 10 GB FAIL!

Hello guys,

Im the IT guy in a Film Production Agency based in Greece. 6 months ago we purchased CRS317-1G-16S+RM with SFP+ modules S+RJ10 connecting to machines with AQUANTIA / Marvell AQC107 on 10GB. Our purpose was to edit footage directly to a TrueNAS SCALE server with 10GB speed. Unfortunately when machines connect either to server or to each other via CRS317 speed throttling/low speeds are constantly witnessed as low as 50% on on downlink. Uplink works somewhat correctly up to 99%.

Tried to test further and see what the results would be with a machine running Intel X540-T1 connecting to CRS317 + S+RJ10, same setup as before. Although 99% both on uplink & downlink. Everything works as expected!

So the main suspects to my case are CRS317 + S+RJ10 + AQC107. Especially some weird compatibility issue between S+RJ10 & AQC107. I do not have another brands SFP+ module to test further. S+RJ10 is rev2.16.

I have tried everything. Both on RouterOS and in Windows machine side (MTU size, Flow control, Link negotiation speed, HW offload, RECV offload). Same bad results. Im desperate as i have spent countless hours troubleshooting! Please help me!

*Our machines are Asrock X570 Creator with the onboard AQC107 attached to network via RJ45 CAT6a less than 30m. TrueNAS machine runs X540-T2 RJ45 4port version on 10GB, LACP configured on both ends, no problem when using machines that connect to infrastracture via X540-T1. AQC107 is updated to latest version both fw and drivers, also tried older version.
