hotel wifi system

i have a client who has 3 rack with mikrotik switches an cAP wifi , in tota 80 devices . main rack has the router never need a restart , second and third rack connect with the main router with sfp and i have to restart 2 time a day because wifi name wont show up . is there any option to force cAP to show the name and id he thinks there is no internet .

Are the switches the 48 port variety?

CRS354 type?

If so... It's been reported for years at this point.

yes , is there any solution for this ?
Those switches have been known to "loose" groups of ports. Small packets will pass... but not real traffic.

The RIGHT ANSWER, is to remove the 354.

If you are not going to do that... get a webcontrolled power switch to restart the switch, when it "locks up again."

There is no "fix" for that model.

The Mikrotik CRS328-24P+4S-RM and CRS326-24G+2S-RM have been working for me for months at this point.

However

I have Ubnt EdgeSwitches that have not needed to be so much as checked on, in several years. Some switching Gigs of video streams per second while also handling campus WiFi.
