RB260GSP short circuit status

Sat Oct 01, 2022 8:53 am

Hello eveyone,
Im connecting RB260GSP to my router , when I access the switch , It shows short circuit on the port that is connected to my laptop, when changing the port the same problem still. note that Im connected to the internet without any probems. I tried different cables and the switch is upgraged to the latest version.
What is the solution?

Believe you have noticed the same thing a few of us already have. I believe this should be of help. No one has confirmed that I’m not crazy, but my belief makes sense given how PoE works other than passive.

i asked Mikrotik Support, they said " this is normal as it is short and will not allow the voltage to come trough. So Yes, your devices are working as intended".
