I have a LHG R router. I haven't used it for some time and forgot the password, so I tried to reset it. It was booting with the IP address of 192.168.88.1 before I tried to reset it but it does not seem to have that IP address anymore. I might have done the "Release the button when the LED turns solid green to clear all configuration and defaults" type of reset as per https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ ... esetbutton
Not being able to connect to the device, I did the firmware update with netinstall:
Code: Select all
# ./netinstall -a 192.168.88.3 routeros-mipsbe-6.49.6.npk
Using server IP: 192.168.88.100
Starting PXE server
Waiting for RouterBOARD...
PXE client: C4:[redacted]
Sending image: mips
Discovered RouterBOARD...
Formatting...
Sending package routeros-mipsbe-6.49.6.npk ...
Ready for reboot...
Sent reboot command
But the device still neither responds as 192.168.88.3 nor 192.168.88.1.
Please advise what I can do to configure the device's IP address.
Thanks,
Mike
