pppoe: terminating... - connect time expired

Hi guys,

I've several routerboard that work as pppoe server.
This morning all my clients disconnected at the same time and in routerboards logs I saw the same info for each pppoe session:

<pppoe-XXXX>: disconnected
<pppoe-XXXX>: terminating... - connect time expired

Since routerboards are in different sites it isn't possible a connection issue.

I suppose a radius problem even if I didn't found errors in radius logs.

Does anyone know what means "connect time expired"? I mean, when pppoe server gives this info instead of other (like "peer is not responding" for example)?

Understanding that info could drive me to find what happened.
