BGP aggregate routes in filters/bgp settings

Sun Nov 13, 2022 4:17 pm

From what I understand at the moment only option to advertise aggregate routes is (this is how I do it)
1. create super-net in /ip route as blackhole
2. add network list for it
3. bgp out network
4. filter only if dst-len > 16 for supert-net /16

Now is there any plans this process to be simplified with bgp setting or filter ?

For example I have several /24 networks, I advertise connected routes + fitters (no bgp out network list)
Also I want to send only aggregated network /16 to BGP peers
# connected routes
a/24
b/24
c/24
etc.

adv. A/16 to bgp peers

1. BGP adv. connected routes
2. do filters to adv. only A/16 to BGP peers
but since "blackhole network" /16 is not a connected route I should explicitly take action in order to adv this supper-net

I have a reason to adv. only connected routes and other igp (ospf) networks (1. I'm lazy , 2. more easy , 3. conn, igp only advertainment work perfectly for me)
