Mangle Rules with different ISP

Tue Nov 29, 2022 5:18 pm

Hello dear Mikrotik community i have little problem

I have 2 ISP and three difeerent vlans 20-30 and 99 (MGMT)

I have added two mangle rules for Two vlans

/ip firewall mangle
add action=route chain=prerouting comment=VLAN20>>SKYTEL passthrough=no route-dst=8.8.8.8 src-address=192.168.0.0/24 >>>>50 Mbps
add action=route chain=prerouting comment=VLAN30>>RADIO passthrough=no route-dst=1.1.1.1 src-address=192.168.2.0/24 >>>>6 Mbps

plus i am using Recursive routing....test ping 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 in case one ISP fails it will failover to second one, but i still actively use both of them via mangle rules....

my problem is that there is no inter-vlan ping icmp anymroe because of this rules, i am using version 7.6.....on previous 6.48 i was normally adding another rule in mangle with icmp accept and everything worked

And that another rule should work the same as before, assuming it's in the right place (before these two) and there's no other problem in your config.

I dont understand why you are mangling, What is it that you want users to be able to do or forced to do, in clear terms without talk of configuration.
